Sister OK 05:48
Well it’s just that your sister siad that you’d be ok And the timing you feel is right in your life And it’s just ok, just ok tonight Yeah its just ok, just ok it’s fine Well it’s just that your mother said that you’d be ok And the timing you feel is wrong in your life But it’s just ok, just ok tonight And it’s just ok, just ok it’s fine Your love will not raise you up No no no your love Won’t raise you up

Why Can't I 04:31
Once there was a room In a house That i could run to And paint my world With secret dreams That would come true It all seemed so easy then Seems so hard today Why can’t I ever find my way Once there wa sa road Going south That I could head for And fill my world With all the things My heart had sent for Didn’t need no reason then Feel so lost today Why can’t I ever find my way Why can’t I ever find my way It only happened once before When I came running When I came knocking on your door… Why can’t I ever find my way

Well I know these miles are getting tired Need more reason to decide Please don’t leave on the light Got my clear and dying eyes Will I find it all alone Will I guide it all alone Will I climb it all alone Will I fight it all alone Are you alright You alright Are you alright You right Well I know this kills us every time Need no reason to decide You don’t need to ever hide I love your celar and dying eyes Are you alright You alrgith Are you alright You right

Girl I love you, you know I do And I do not doubt that you love me too Aw but you’re so young Your life’s just begun Something tells me there’ll come a day When you just might wonder what slipped away While you’ve been with me And you will want to be free Shoot ‘em up baby Shoot ‘em up baby Shoot ‘em up baby Shoot ‘em up baby If I lost you now I would surely cry But to lose you later, you know I’d die Don’t misunderstand Girl I have nothing planned You should go where the lights are bright And make all the scnes and stay out all night Girl I’ll be right here Shoot ‘em up baby Shoot ‘em up baby Shoot ‘em up baby Shoot ‘em up baby Go on and spread your wings and fly Try to touch the sky But keep your powder dry Shoot ‘em up baby Shoot ‘em up baby Shoot ‘em up baby Shoot ‘em up baby

Sail On 04:14
I tried to find my wisdom On a fast moving train But I only found the hollow Inb a midnight hurricane I saw my religion In the eyes of a painter A poet & a seamstress & a land lovin’ sailor Sail on Sail on Sail on Freedom is for losers Devil & the Saints Prison is for the choosers Ah, Liberty’s complaints Sail on Sail on Sail on Sail on I call myself a tunesmith To people I don’t know When they ask why I came here I tell ‘em it’s all for show I went to my gravesite To see what it was like You know I kinda like it Away from all this fight Sail on Sail on Sail on Found me a stranger Who was kinder than the young He helped engineer my way To my mid-life prom Sail on Sail on Sail on Sail on Sail on Sail on We pray for our children Not to be misused But we leave them with a place We sold & abused Like a family from distance Who can never choose You can almost taste the sorrow While searching for the clues Sail on Sail on Sail on Freedom is for losers Devil & the Saints Prison is for the choosers Ah, Liberty’s complaints Sail on Sail on Sail on Sail on Sail on Sail on

I never left heaven without a gun And it’s good and it’s right to love I never left heaven without a gun And it’s good and it’s right to love Don’t be a stealer Don’t be a stealer Don’t be a stealer Don’t be a stealer

Why can’t I Ever believe That your love Is just for me Don’t wanna go And walk away Feel the emptiness That makes it so hard to stay Well I been here before And I been shown the door But I’m still here Hoping this time that love is for sure Losers like me Can’t see it all They can’t see the love They only see the fall Hey I been here before I been shown the door But i’m still here Hoping this time that love i for sure

Longest Time 04:12
In the night there’s a full wind cry Sayin’ all my time, all my fire And I was awake to see Everyday I can see where the hurt lies Gettin’ harder gettin’ longer For you to rescue me Been away for the longest time It’s all decided Been away for the longest time It’s all decided In the way of the words we find I’m an inside out upside downer Without the right to lead In the seed of my worn out knees I steal the power feel the tower A smile from destiny Been away for the longest time It’s all decided Been away for the longest time It’s all decided Well I got too much I got too much Well I know They will say It’s mine Well i know They will say Time Been away for the longest time Been away for the longest time It’s all decided When the love is afraid And the world wants to hide When the love is afraid And the world wants to hide When the love is fraid And the world wants to hide Oh my love My time My God I’m frightened with it all Been away for the longest time It’s all decided

Forest Green 04:12
Forest Green is the color Of this new April morning And I’d swear it was summer, today And as I sit in the shadow Of a tree on a hillside I’m deep in the hollow Of a love that just died She became not much kinder than a stranger And in my heart I knew she’d soon be gone She said that married life would chain her But in my heart I knew it all along Found what I could believe in In the river of all her smiles And love was in season to try Like fallen leaves on a sidewalk Like tears for a winter rain I know I’m needin’ a long talk To find the way to me again She became not much kinder than a stranger And in my heart I knew she’d soon be gone She said that married life would chain her But in my heart I knew it all along

The pressure kills I’m moving out With memories that I saved I’ve seen the church I’ve seen the one Who’s come back for the brave Who came first Kindness or the rage? Who came first Night or the day The lightning is calling out The changing of the gates I’ve seen the church It’s just a house That slowly replicates Who came first Kindness or the rage? Who came first Night or the day? Gonna save our kind from frozen love Gonna save our time from frozen walls Join the forces with Almost and Regret Who came first Kindness or rage? Who came first Light or the day? I love you I loved you

about

Andy Kim's It's Decided transcends the galaxies of history within it. Renowned for 30 million records sold worldwide, with eternal #1 hits like "Rock Me Gently", "Baby, I Love You So", and The Archies' "Sugar, Sugar", the legendary songwriter and recording artist has captured a vibrant new sound, timeless in its opposing auras of permanence and ephemera. Co-written and produced by Broken Social Scene's Kevin Drew, Ohad Benchetrit (Do Make Say Think), and Dave Hamelin (The Stills), It's Decided is the crystallization of a music community around a living, thriving legend. Lead by Andy Kim's wisdom, through his stunningly youthful vocals, the album's ten songs are accented by contributions by luminaries Ron Sexsmith, Jeff Barry, John McIntyre (Tortoise), Kevin Hearn (Barenaked Ladies), and Derek Downham. Surrendering to what Kim calls "the Magic & the Brilliance of Kevin Drew", songs with the impeccable intuition of a Hall of Fame songwriter shimmer with Drew's studio flourishes. A song like "Sail On" coasts on handclaps and a perfect chorus. The wistful "Shoot 'Em Up Baby", originally released by Kim in '68 with "Sugar, Sugar" co-writer Barry, shows glimpses of the original's ethereal doo-wop through bright new chiming piano. The album closing "Who Came First", rewritten from the Social Scene archives, shuffles upward with that familiar Broken sound of low, syncopated saxophone - another example of the wide-eyed reinvention that is It's Decided. As Drew says, this is "Andy's heartfelt want to still make it even though many would say his history is enough." Gentle and enigmatic, ageless and ecstatic. "Andy Kim always looks to transcend and find the honesty in what he does and does with others."
